Basic safety training in personal survival techniques

Certificates are issued by the maritime administration (the Maritime Authority). The certificate remains valid for 5 years.

The training ends with a credit:

• Lectures – a test
• Exercises – a demonstration of skills

According to the Regulation of the Minister of Infrastructure and Development

• Number of days: 2
• Total: 20 hours
• Lectures: 14 hours
• Exercises: 6 hours

You should take the following for the training:

• clothes and equipment for a swimming pool
• an application
• a declaration

Dates of the training may be changed if there are not enough trainees signed for it.
