Port and Shipyard Operations
Hook, Hatch and Grab Operations
The aim of the course is to comprehensively prepare participants to perform the duties of a hookman, hatchman and grab operator, both in terms of theoretical knowledge and practical skills related to the safe and efficient execution of cargo handling operations.
The training prepares participants for work in ports, cargo terminals, industrial plants, and anywhere where loading, unloading and cargo handling operations are carried out using cranes, overhead cranes, grabs and other cargo-handling equipment.
The Hookman, Hatchman and Grab Operator training is intended for:
- Employees of ports, warehouses and cargo terminals
- Persons involved in loading and unloading operations
- Manual workers seeking to obtain new qualifications
- Companies training teams to work with lifting equipment
